It is made of sodium citrate-based anticoagulant and thixotropic separating gel that helps to effectively separate tissue nourishing PRP from the patient’s own blood. Its unique formulation allows 20% more platelet extraction from the patient’s blood. The extracted auto-logous PRP will then be heat-processed in an incubator to form an injectable implant that can be used to nourish and rejuvenate weakened skin structure, resulting in plumper and healthier-looking skin.
Use Instructions
How do I use this product?
Plasmolifting™ PRP therapy can only be conducted on patients whose medical history have been reviewed extensively. Start the procedure by first preparing the patient for blood sampling. Next, draw 9ml of the patient’s blood into the Plasmolifting™ PRP Gel tube via a vacutainer. Complete the blood sampling process and invert the blood-filled tube five to six times to ensure that the blood is completely mixed with the anti-coagulating and thixotropic separating gel. Proceed by centrifuging the blood-filled tube for five minutes with the machine set at 4000rpm and fixed-angle rotor centrifuge. Following the completion of the centrifugation step, heat the extracted auto-logous PRP in an incubator for three to six minutes at 95°C until an injectable form of the plasma (PRP) therapy called Plasmogel is formed. You can then administer the prepared Plasmogel into the areas requiring rejuvenation via intra-dermal or supraperiosteal injections. At the end of the session, ensure that you discard all used medical consumables safely as they are considered as contaminated biological wastes.
When should I use this product?
You should use this medical device when you are performing Plasmolifting™ PRP therapy on your patients who are presented with common skin aging signs. Patients who are allergic to common preparation of dermal fillers such as hyaluronic acid are better suited to receive auto-logous PRP implant injections as they are sourced from the patient’s own blood.
What areas can I treat with this product?
This completely sterile, tissue-friendly, and biodegradable Plasmogel can be injected into areas showing signs of aging such as the face, neck, décolletage, back of hands and feet. Following the treatment session, common signs of dermal aging like laxity, wrinkles, acne scars, loss of facial volume, and un-sculpted facial contours are improved.
How long does the product last?
The injected autologous Plasmogel can last for about three months in the tissues before it is metabolized completely by the surrounding tissues. Though the injected Plasmogel tends to disintegrate within three months following intra-dermal administration, the skin beautifying effects of the plasma (PRP) therapy are expected to last for at least two years before the previous aging signs start emerging again.
How long does the treatment take?
A single treatment session usually last about 40 to 50 minutes. Your patients might need up to four sessions spaced a week apart for best results.
