Supartz® is a sterile viscoelastic solution indicated for the treatment of pain in osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee. The powerful solution is made of purified, high molecular weight sodium hyaluronate, which is similar to the fluid that surrounds the joints in our body. Supartz® helps to improve mobility by working as a lubricant and shock absorber in the affected joint. In addition, Supartz® products protect the joint from further damage. How do I use or apply Supartz®?
Supartz® is administered via intra-articular injection. Three to five injections will be needed. The injections must be separated by a week.
